Privacy policy

The short version: this is a static site. We collect an email address only if you ask us to send you the template bundle, and your message if you contact us. Google Analytics counts visits, but only after you accept it on the cookie bar. We do not sell or share your data, and we run no advertising trackers.

What we collect and why

  • Email signups. If you request the all-formats bundle, your email address and the page you signed up from are stored with our email provider, Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit). It is used to deliver the files and to send occasional emails about template updates and our products. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
  • Contact form. The form on our contact page is a Google Form, embedded from Google Docs. What you type in it goes to Google and reaches us as a spreadsheet row, and we use it only to reply to you. Because the form is embedded, loading our contact page contacts Google's servers and Google may set its own cookies there under its privacy policy. No other page on this site embeds anything third-party. If you would rather not involve Google, email us directly instead.
  • Purchases. The Complete Toolkit is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. Payment details go to Lemon Squeezy, not to us; we receive your email address to provide support and updates. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.
  • Analytics, only if you agree to it. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly which country they came from. It runs through Google Consent Mode with every storage type set to denied by default, so no analytics cookie is written unless you press Accept on the cookie bar. Press Decline and none is written at all; the site behaves identically either way. If you accept, Google sets its own cookies and processes that data under its privacy policy. We use it to decide which templates and guides to write next, never to identify individual visitors, and Google Signals and advertising features are switched off.

What we do not do

  • No advertising trackers, no retargeting pixels, no selling or sharing of your data. The only third parties reached from this site are the two named above: Google Analytics on every page, and the embedded Google Form on the contact page.
  • No accounts, no passwords, no profiles.
  • Downloading the free single-format templates requires no data at all.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent) to deliver and protect the site; we do not use them to identify visitors.

Your rights

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing is one click, exactly like granting it.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email. To have your email address deleted from our list entirely, or to ask anything about your data, write to [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
